CHARLESTON, W.Va. – University of Charleston baseball standout Andrew Armstrong (Washington, Pa./Trinity) continued to grab post-season honors as he was named to the All-Atlantic Region Second Team, Thursday afternoon. Last week, Armstrong received a spot on the All-WVIAC First Team.
This season, Armstrong hit .428 which was second on the team for UC, while it ranked 49th in NCAA Division II. He held a team-high .560 on-base percentage which was the ninth best in the nation, while also leading the team with 13 doubles, a .580 slugging percentage, and 40 RBIs.
Armstrong finished the season as the 55th toughest player to strikeout in the nation as he was unable to connect just nine times in 138 at-bats.

The WVIAC, Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference, and the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association comprise the region.
